She has denied all the allegations but is currently serving a five year sentence.

Greece has fallen on hard times of late, but this young woman is the one glimmering spark in the nation’s parliament. No, she isn’t a supermodel, but she could very well be. She has been active in government since 2007. In 2009, she was elected in the first district of Thessaloniki. During her term, Kaili has served on multiple committees, such as Cultural and Educational Affairs, Standing Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs, and Special Permanent Committee of Greeks Abroad.

Once a former showgirl and model, Maria “Mara” Carfagna obtained a degree in law before entering politics. She was elected to the Chamber of Deputies for Forza Italia party in 2006. From 2008 to 2011 she served as Minister for Equal Opportunity in Berlusconi IV Cabinet. During this time she was named “the most beautiful minister in the world” and was ranked number one on Maxim’s “World’s Hottest Politicians.”

Often referred to by her initials CFK, Christina is an Argentine lawyer and politician. She was the first directly elected female president of Argentina and served from 2007-2015. Surely she is an intelligent woman, but her looks definitely didn’t diminish her elect-ability.

Michela is an Iatlian politician and businesswoman. She rose quickly to national prominence in 2003 after having been named president of the under-40 entrepreneurs council at Confcommercio. She was appointed Italy’s Minister of Culture and Tourism in 2009. She is also well known for her low cut tops and short skirts.
19. Ruby Dhalla
A Canadian politician that was among the first Sikh women to serve in the Canadian House of Commons. Dhalla is very intelligent, having received a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Winnipeg. She was however defeated by Parm Gill in 2011’s federal election.

Julia is the youngest member of a parliament in Germany. Elected at age 18, she served in the Landtag of Saxony from 2004 to 2014. Doesn’t she have an incredible last name? Bonk.

Another youthful leader, Alina is a retired gymnast and a Russian Honored Master of Sports. She is one of the most decorated gymnasts in the history of rhythmic gymnastics. Between 2007 and 2014, she was a State Duma deputy from the United Russia party. Since September 2014, she is the chairwoman of the board of directors of the National Media Group. Her dad is also famous, as a former professional soccer player.

A Polish liberal politician who was the Minister of Sport and Tourism of Poland from 2011 to 2012. She could have a second career as a TV reporter, or an actresses portraying a reporter.

The Fine Gael councillor (that’s an Irish politician) was involved in a ‘Boobgate’ investigation after a picture came forward of a friend grabbing her frontal parts. To make matters worse an ex-boyfriend was the one that brought the infamous picture to a local newspaper.

The republican congresswoman from Minnesota is usually never high in the polls, but she is always at the top of the looks list. It doesn’t take a rocket science to understand why she gets elected. Just take a second to observe.

Ayla comes from a powerful Pakistani family, and is a former member of the National Assembly from 2002-2007. She also established herself as a television personality and journalist. Unfortunately in 2013 Ayla was disqualified by a two-member election tribunal over submitting her fake intermediate degree. Looks like she took fake it til you make it a little too far.

Described as one of Estonia’s “most popular politicians and public figures”, Anna-Maria is only 33 years of age but has already experienced a full life in the public eye. She was made infamous for her embezzlement charge in Estonia, her exile in London, and extradition process within the English courts. But most importantly, she appeared on the cover of Estonian Playboy in 2009.

She replaced her husband Sonny Bono’s seat in the California Congress in 1998, and she currently holds the position of Senior VP of a major consulting firm. Talk about being well rounded, political AND business acumen? Score.

Hillary Clinton’s replacement for New York Senator when she became Secretary of State, Gillibrand is doing pretty good. In 2012 she got re-elected to an entire six year term with 72% of the vote, the highest margin for any statewide candidate in New York. Shes gorgeous, powerful and popular.
9. Luciana Leon
This Peruvian politician is the daughter of a well known politician in Peru. Growing up a public sector environment, Luciana naturally got started an at early age. When she was 14, she became General Secretary of the Aprista Party’s youth wing. Luciana holds a law degree from the University of Lima. On an internet poll run by Spain’s 20 Minutos newspaper she was voted the most beautiful female politician in the world.
8. Orly Levy
This Israeli politician is certifiably amazing. She completed her national service in the Israeli Air Force and earned a law degree at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya. She worked as a model and a local television host. She is currently serving as a member of the Knesset for Yisrael Beiteinu.
7. Sethrida Geagea
A Lebanese politician whose family owned businesses in West Africa. She is making progress in Lebanon’s fight against Syrian oppression. She currently represents the district of Bsharri.
6. Sabine Uitslag
The former Dutch politician, she was a member of the Christian Democratic Appeal. Her focus was matters of social care, youth policy, and addiction. Sabine always has a fallback on a second career as a nurse. She studied healthcare science with a specialization in nursing at Maastricht University.

Yulia was the first woman appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine, which has 19 seats in parliament. She was the first woman appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine, serving two stints. She has placed as high as third in Forbes magazine’s list of the world’s most powerful women. Unfortunately she did not win reelection in 2014 with only 12.81% of the votes.

The 2008 Vice Presidential nominee is a former beauty pageant winner. The youngest person and first woman to be elected Governor of Alaska until she resigned in July of 2009. She is no longer in office, but she can afford to live like a queen in Alaska.

She has been repeatedly voted as the world’s most attractive politician by multiple publications. The once Hachinohe city councilwoman was once involved in a sex scandal with a married politician. She put out a book of photos and accompanying video that proved she was a sexy politician and had some Japanese claiming she is too sexy for politics. “Too sexy for politics”- we’re not sure if that’s possible, but it’s a catchy phrase.

Vera Lischka is the former European swimming champion in the 50-meter breaststroke. She is now an acting member of the Upper Austrian parliament of Austria.

The Kuwaiti-born Queen of Jordan came from humble beginnings. She wasn’t born into royalty at all. After graduating from American University in Cairo, Rania took jobs with Citibank and eventually with Apple Inc. in Amman, before marrying eventual King Abdullah. She has one of the most active online profiles of any politician, posting videos discussing Middle East issues. She is a strong advocate for Muslim women having the option to wear a hijab.
